Watermark Fisheries

The Watermark Specimen Fisheries in Gloucestershire offer a diverse range of angling experiences specialising in Trout and Carp fishing.

From the inland sea that is the famous Bradley's Fishery with carp approaching 40lb to the intimate Specimen lake of four and a half acres with it's large head of quality carp to 35lbs+, tench to double figures, crucians to 2lb+ and perch to over 5lb! offering suberb opportunities for the discerning angler.

Watermark Fisheries include other mature gravel pits offering exclusive winter pike fishing opportunities with No. 6 having brilliant pike fly fishing in summer.

All the Watermark fisheries are mature, non-pressured and intimate waters with exceptional water quality and clarity, superb for the serious specimen hunter or the discerning all rounder.

The Pike Lake

The 40 acres Pike Lake is located at Lake 6 in the Cotswolds Water Park, having all the features that a pike angler loves; rush beds and sunken trees included. The lake stocked with specimen Pike, Tench, Carp, Perch and Roach with fish over 20lbs regularly caught.

The Trout Lake

The Trout Lake is a mature 5.5-acre pool, which will allow up to 14 anglers at one time. The lake fish well throughout the year benefiting from natural springs and cool deepwater areas. The lake, well stocked with many resident Brown and Rainbow trout of a high average size ranging from approximately 2 - 20lb’s. Combined with its natural beauty and prolific fly life the lake makes for an ideal location to enjoy a days fly-fishing.

Bradley's Lake

The 130 acres mature gravel pit known by the serious specimen angler for its large carp currently growing to the 40lb mark. The lake was stocked with 2000 carp during 2006 to compliment the existing stock of 250 carp which grow in excess of 35lbs, along with Pike, Tench, Roach and Rudd. Bradley’s Lake is well known for its Tench reaching double figures.

Little Horseshoe Lake

The 4.5 acres Little Horseshoe Lake is predominantly a carp fishery. It has a stock of over 400 fish including Specimen Carp, Perch, Tench and Roach ranging from mid-double to more than 6 fish over 30lbs in weight. This fishery reaches depths from 5 to 12+ feet with islands, silt gullies, gravel plateaus and benefits from secure parking, a shower block and comfortable swims.
