Walking In The Cotswolds

The Cotswold Way

The Cotswold Way is the latest National Trail. The route is about 100 miles long  and runs along the length of the escarpment leaving  Chipping Campden in the north and passing through some of the most picturesque villages and historical sites in the Cotswolds  to reach the city of Bath.

The route was first started over 30 years ago and the Cotswold Voluntary Warden Service keeps the trail well maintained.

There are a number of guide books available from tourist information centres and local bookshops. There are five maps that the walker may need.
