The Villages Of The Cotswolds
Crudwell, Wiltshire straddles the A429 between Cirencester & the Wiltshire town of Malmesbury.
The village is an attractive stone-built village spread around two small greens, either side of the main road. There is an interesting medieval church built in the twelth century & the only other building of note can be found next to the church. The former rectory was built in the 16th century & is now a hotel.
The village has a very active social spirit with the villagers organising an annual 24 hours bike ride around the lanes & the strawberry fair during the summer.
The village is 4 miles from Malmesbury & 9 miles from Cirencester.
