Chedworth Roman Villa

Chedworth Roman Villa is one of the best exposed Romano-British villa sites in Britain. Set in a wooded valley of the River Colne the villa, discovered in 1864  is a "must see" property for any visitor or local resident. If you are lucky your visit may coincide with one of the many related events taking place at the villa. There are many walks around the area which can be combined with a visit which adds up to a full day out. Open February-November(except mondays -open bank holidays). Admission is charged.

The Courts Garden

This is one of the most peaceful and charming gardens to visit. The seven acres is divided into "rooms" and an arboretum, each planted with an interesting scheme. Open April-October daily except wednesdays from 11.00am-5.30pm. Facilities will include a tearoom. No toilets. Admission is charged and members of the National Trust are free.
