The Big Lake and Island
Known as the "Match Lake", has 50 pegs in all, 26 on the island and 24 around the outside.
The depth of the Ivy House match lake varies between 2 feet at the bank and 8 feet towards its centre and there are a number of reed beds. The pegs are well spaced so do not expect other fishermen to be sat on your shoulder.
The well-stocked lake has Carp weighing more then 20 pounds available along with Ghosties at 14 pounds plus, Tench, Bream, Chub, Crucians, Perch, Roach, Rudd and Gudgeon .
Parking is very good, and most pegs are easily accessible.
The Small Lake
The Small Lake at Ivy House has a depth of 14 feet, with 22 well spaced pegs around its perimeter.
The lake, stocked with fish of similar weights as the Big Lake.
The Old Canal
A stretch of water, 16 metres wide and up to 8 feet at the deepest point near the small island. Twenty-three pegs surrounded the water and Carp
weighing 20lb plus are usually found on the far bank, but ignore the inside edges at your own peril, as many can be caught here too. Grass Carp are also here.
The New Canal
Ivy House Lakes have recently created a new section which has 20 pegs, and is similar in depth to the Old Canal. Ivy House Lakes have stocked it with 2000 small Carp and 10 sneaky 15lb
plus Carp and a few Goldfish, which are a nice surprise when caught.
