Hillside is a traditional stone-built cottage in a quiet village a short drive from the picturesque market towns of Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Northleach, and Cirencester. It is well-situated for exploring the North Cotswolds or for visiting the attractive spa town of Cheltenham, venue for festivals throughout the year, including the National Hunt Festival at the famous racecourse in March
Guests are accommodated in a comfortable double bedroom with en-suite shower room, or in a twin bedded room with a separate private shower room. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the garden.
There are several circular walks of varying lengths around the village and surrounding countryside, and a footpath leads across the fields to an excellent pub/restaurant about a mile away. Other country inns offering a high standard of cooking can be found in the surrounding villages, while Cheltenham has many popular restaurants and bars.
Nearby attractions include the Roman villa at Yanworth, Sudeley Castle, the Cotswold Wildlife Park and the Cotswold Way long distance path.
