The day ticket lake of 4 ½ acre is not only the oldest lake in the area, it is also a one of a kind, it is the only wet dug lake left, which means it has plenty natural features and varies in depths.
There are many fish in the lake, which are still the original Carp, and these have grown to over 30lb in weight.
The well-stocked lake is an "angler’s" lake and experience is highly recommended. The lake holds general coarse fish including Carp to over 30lb, Pike to over 30lb, Tench to over 10lb, Bream to over 10lb, Roach and Perch to 3 ¾lb.
Tickets are available for purchased from the hut next to the toilet with the slip and money placed in the envelopes provided and posted through the hole in the counter top.
Organisers of matches should contact the proprietor for information and booking of the lake.
